A nice feature of newer browsers is text rotation and skewing via CSS. While there is quite a bit of potential here, it is important to use these features with caution. Simply put, these features are somewhat limited or non-existent in Internet Explorer. Below you will find a number of links that describe implementing rotation and skewing and the differences from browser to browser:
Please note that I have made grades available via Blackboard. If you have received a *bad* grade for an assignment make sure that the assignment is available through the assignment interface, either http://134.74.236.60/~web1tue09/ or http://134.74.236.60/~web1wed09/. If I am not able to navigate to that assignment then you currently have and F for that grade. Make your exercise available and I will change that grade accordingly. This needs to be done this week.

Eyebeam is pleased to host Open Studios for its 2009 Senior Fellows, Resident Artists, and Student Residents at Eyebeam’s state-of-the-art design, research, and fabrication studio; showcasing video performance, wearable technologies, code and humor, party technology, and sustainablity design. This two-day presentation at Eyebeam Art + Technology Center will allow a rare, inside look at current research. Guided tours of artists’ work will be given every hour from 3–6PM.
I will be there with ShiftSpace presenting on Friday and Saturday. Come by and say hello!
So I have a couple pages with background images. When I open them on the browser from the mac lab all is fine and dandy, but when i try to browse through on the class website the images don’t come up on 2 of my pages. The images are both in the folder, so I’m not sure what the problem is.
Are we supposed to use our index as a homepage and have links to the other 4 pages we created? or are they all just separate entities? thanks!
Is there a way to do text wrap in jEdit? I’ve split the screen into html and css (since I’m using an external style sheet), and it’s difficult working with the html stuff running past the window.
I made myself a little background image for one of my pages in Photoshop and saved it for web at 1024×768. does anyone know if there is a code in CSS so that I can have that bkgrnd image stretch to fit the webpage it is loaded up on? thanks!
Hi. Did anybody take notes on the artists names we went over last class? or Does anybody know their names?
I really liked some of the works we saw on the slide, and I wanted to see more of it.
I do remember some names but I don’t know how to spell them.
Can anybody help me??:)
thanks.
